Competition Team Auditions at Momentum Dance Academy

 

**Dance Live Auditions**

  Saturday July 9, 2011 

All Dancers need to report to the sign in table at the assigned time. All dancers will participate in the assigned warm-up time (Ballet) even if they are not auditioning for the ballet team. All dancers need to stay until they are completely done auditioning.

***Wild cards are held on Sunday July 10, 2011. All Wild Card dancers need to report at 9:00am to get numbers and warm-ups will begin at 9:30am. All dancers need to stay until we are completely done on Sunday. 

Dancers 10yrs and under

8:30am – 9:00am Sign in and get numbers 9:00am – 10:30am Ballet  10:30am – 11:30am Jazz/Pom 11:30am – 12:00pm Tap 12:00pm – 12:30pm Hip Hop Wild cards will be posted on the back door facing the ally at 3:00pm.  

Dancers 10yrs and older

2:30pm – 3:00pm Sign in and get numbers 3:00pm – 4:30pm Ballet 4:30pm – 5:30pm Jazz/Pom 5:30 pm – 6:00pm Lyrical 6:00pm – 6:30pm Tap 6:30pm – 7:00pm Hip Hop Wild cards will be posted on the back door facing the ally at 8:00pm.  

Note: All dancers that make a Dance Live Team will have to attend the MADATORY meeting in August (TBA) where a $50 deposit will have to be made at that time

 Tiffani Powell is a trained professional dancer and teacher from the Washington D.C. area. After receiving her B.A. in Dance from the University of Maryland, she performed and toured with several modern dance companies throughout the East Coast. Tiffani has also been an educator of dance for over 20 years, teaching in studios, Universities, and in the public school system from Coast to Coast.  She is trained in Modern (Horton Technique), Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop and Creative Movement. Since relocating to California in 2005, she has been an instructor and guest choreographer at the Sierra Performing Arts Center, The City Performing Arts Academy, El Diamante High School, Red Wood High School and  Belleview Elementary. Her passion is to inspire those around her with the beauty and artistry of dance.
