Greetings All!
I know it's been a long time since I've posted. A lot has gone on in these past few weeks, I'll try to fll you in.
August started out with a bang! The studio was open for two weeks of Summer Classes. It was a blast! I taught Hip Hop, Modern & Jazz classes to my favorite little dancers and even some new ones. For some reason the studio was buzzing. We had several new students drop in who were not only talented but good hearted people as well. It was cool to have the new energy. The girls loved all my new choreography, and I loved watching them master it. It was a great introduction as to how this year is going to go....FANTASTICALLY!
The two weeks ended with me teaching the Red Wood High School Cheerleaders their annual Hip Hop routine. I chose a song that was fast, funky and fun! They LOVED it! I just love that gig. Hopefully this year I'll make it to their Pep Rally so I can see them work it out!!
Then Aunie Jaz arrived.
My best friend of 20 years, Jasmine, was in town for five days of fun, laughter and yummy guacamole. Oh Jaz is simply the best. She is such a good friend. And Caleb LOVED her!!!! She called him Hambone the whole time she was here cuz Boogie would cheese it up for her everytime she took a picture of him. Oh it was so funny! Well, First we hung out here at the house then on Monday the four of us ran away to Pismo Beach! We ate yummy seafod at Splash Cafe, shopped the shops, walked along the beach at night and laughed our booty's off watching Baby Mama on cable in our hotel room. The next day we drove to Cayucos, Harmony, Morro Bay and then back to Pismo so Jaz could get her rental car and head back to LAX. We had so so much with her, I was so sad to see her go :-( We don't have visitors often. It's nice to have someone from your "home"/childhood to spend time with you and see your home and family and your accomplishments. I love visitors and I love me some Jaz. Thanks Jaz for a fun-filled visit! :-) We miss you
In between teaching and Jaz we've just been hanging out.
Caleb continues to grow, use new words and be super super cute. Mr. Man talks ALL THE TIME! His little voice is pretty much the cutest thing ever. And he repeats pretty much everything you say. Yeah. We've cleaned up our potty mouths ;-)
Boogie's Words:
Tractor, Dog, Cat, Cow, Duck, Ball, Smoke Detecter, Turtle, Car, Truck, bear, Shoe, Snake, Mommy, Daddy, Milk, more, Juice, Baby, Hi, Bye, Night Night, flower, Wow, Uh-Oh and his favorite word Melmo (that's Elmo).
And he can tell you these sounds:

I'm sure I've left some words and sounds out but you get an idea of how big his vocabulary is already. WOW.
Oh yeah! Caleb also knows sign language!!! He can sign: more, please & thank you! Doo doo and doo!
My baby boy is all grown up. He is so much fun, so loveble and so inquisitive, smart and silly. He is my perfet little guy and I'm so blessed that his mine.
Pictures of the past few weeks to come. :-)
