Career Mama?!

Major life changes happening.

Because of my wonderful husband I've been able to stay at home with my babes for 4 1/2 years. He's provided for us on one income allowing me to live my dream as a SAHM.

However, life happens and when opportunity presents itself and a door opens...you embrace it. So...starting Monday I will be working a full-time job! I am very excited about this new adventure.

It's not only extra income for us but it's also good for me! I will continue to teach at MDA and still be able to pick my babes up from school :-)

I'm thrilled for this beginning as a Career Mama.

Life IS good. ♥

My Birthday ROCKED!

So...I turned 34 years old today and I'm still amazed that I'm that old. 

But I mean old in a good way.  Let me explain.

34 means I'm accomplished, I know myself, I've experienced and experimented the world, I've found myself and trust myself, I've loved hard and lost love, I've made mistakes that will not be repeated, I've learned to accept what's before me, I've learned to give it to God and move on.  That I've made a fool of myself and that I know that everything happens for a reason.  34 means that I've made it this far with plenty of blessings to show for it.

I am so happy to be 34.  And I am so looking forward to what this year has to offer.

Thanks to everyone for your birthday text's, emails, cards and Facebook wishes.  I felt so loved today :-)

This is what 34 look like to me.  It's my family.  It's my Michael, my Caleb and my Logan.  It's love.  It's what I created with my blue eyed beau and it's perfect...it's my comfortable quiet....

Here's to a fabulous year!!

I love days like this

So this is how awesome my husband is:

He let me sleep from 10:30-2:15pm!!!!! He had the kids downstairs while I slumbered peacefully. We've all four been in our PJ's all day and now that we're dressed, we're headed to the bookstore.

P.S. Thank you sooooo much Kay Kay for taking care of Caleb while we're in the hospital.  He loves you so much and you're so good with him.  Your love and excitement means so very much.  You da best!

Michael insisted that I put on my booty shorts and strike a pose.  But you totally get the full affect of that BIG ole belly.  YES.  I am as uncomfortable as I look.

But this will all be over with in less than 12 hours.

What a blessing!  I am going to be a Mama again.  And I can't wait to love all over this sweet little raspberry named Logan....

Yesterday afternoon I was feeling frisky so I got "dolled up" (ha ha) and had Michael take some of the last pics of me with da belly.  You also get a good look at our budding garden.  Isn't my Lavender radiant?!  And the renoculous (spelling?) so vibrant with color?  We also have Gerber daisies, strawberries, herbs and later we'll plant corn and sunflowers!!!

So...tomorrow is THE day!  I think I've got one more post in me before the day is over so stay tuned...

So baby Logan will be here on Friday you guys!!!!

We check in bright and early at 6:30am and the C-section begins at 8:30am!!! 

I am so relieved and thrilled and scared and excited.

By 9am we will have baby girl in our arms.  WOW. 

I can't believe that we will be a family of four in two days times.

What a dream come true.  Now all I have to do is to be strong and get through the surgery and recovery.....arg.  Not looking forward to that part....but if I did it once, I can do it again! ;-)

Oooh a baby to sniff and kiss and cuddle and snuggle and kiss and love all over.  I can not wait.

And Big Brother Caleb?  Yes he is back on the team and excited about baby sister :-)  For a while there he was a hater!  Ha ha.  But for the past two weeks he says that he wants to snuggle the baby and show her all his toys.  Doo doo.  He's even back to kissing and patting my belly again.  I know more doo ;-)  Sooooo looking forward to that first picture with him holding Logan on his lap.  Oh wow.

And then there's proud Daddy.  Michael is over the moon with excitement.  He is such a fantastic father.  He was made to be a daddy.  And this little girl is so lucky to have him.  All he talks about is loving on her in the hospital and holding her tight at night while I rest.

Yes.  We will be a family of four and who knew that the guy I met back in 2001 was destined to be my soul-mate,
