Logan's birthday party Maryland style

We celebrated Lolo's 1st birthday one week early at my mom's.  The whole family came to party and it was so much fun.  Although it did take Logan about two hours to calm down from all the commotion (she was a little overwhelmed).  But once she stopped crying (and clinging to me like a baby bear) she was all good and enjoyed her special day with her Maryland family!

Now how sweet is this I ask you?  Caleb woke up early calling for me but my Mom ran in and snuggled up with him in his bed....too too too too sweet!!

My Aunt Donna

Here is the lovely Donna Ree all the way from Alaska!  She has battled and survived Breast Cancer and we are so blessed to have her in our lives!! It had been six years since she'd been home!  Tears galore I tell you!  And she brought her gorgeous Akita, Kyri.  Good times :-)

Me and my babes had the BEST time in Maryland with my mom and step-dad!!! 

We spent two weeks in total bliss!  Love was abound and Logan & Caleb LOVED their Grandparents!

East Coast Here We Come!

Packing up the car and about to head out to Oakland airport.  Our flight leaves at 11:30pm for Washington D.C. Mom....here we come!!

My Aunt Donna

My sweet Aunt Donna has been living in Alaska since 2003.  She has been battling breast cancer for four years.  My family & I have not seen here in six long years!!!  But....

She is flying to Maryland on Thursday!!!  

I can't believe she will finally be home.  I can't believe that we will finally be able to hug and kiss her.  She's been dealing with Cancer alone in Alaska and it's been so hard on my family.

Donna is so strong and so beautiful. It will most certainly be a LOVE fest.

Plus she has NEVER met Caleb or Logan.  So this...this will be a very special visit indeed.

God is so good!
