Music:
If you like chill out music then you must buy Zero 7's new CD "The Garden"
Gnarls Barkley (CD- "St. Elsewhere") is another kick ass group. Very eclectic, very funky.
Pop Culture:
So Britney Spears had her baby yesterday. Let us now have a moment of silence.
Literature:
I'm on a reading kick these past few weeks. I'm on my fourth book and I highly recommend author Emily Giffin. You have to read her first book "Something Borrowed" then read "Something Blue" (it's a continuation of one of the characters from the first book and you don't want to spoil it by reading out of order). Yeah, I totally dig this author. I'm already on page 107 and I got the book on Sunday night. It is a true page turner.
How's the temp?
It's starting to cool off here in V-town (praise the Lawd). Supposed to be 70 by the weekend!
To the Spa!
I've got me another massage appointment for this Saturday. YES! Oh boy it's gonna feel sooooo good especially after doing the dance thing last night. Mmmm can't wait!
Another Year:
Next Friday will mark my 31 years on earth. WOW. Still don't know what I want. All I can think of is baby stuff. Really I can't think of anything. My mom asked me last night that if there's anything special I desire to let her know. Geez. What I desired was to have this little miracle called Caleb and I've got him so...hmmm I dunno an all expensed paid trip to Hawaii? The 2006 Land Rover? Lasik Eye Surgery? Permanent Hair Removal (from legs, pits and bikini line)? Monthly massage, facial, manicure and pedicure?
Is it to much? (HA!) Guess I want gift certificates (Ikea, Best Buy, Target..). Damn shame. I'm usually ready to go with my birthday list. But this year is different. It's not about me. My focus has shifted and all I want to concern myself with is being a good host to my baby until he's ready to take on the world come December.
So...if you're still stumped (as I clearly am) send me pampers. I heard I'll be needing them ;-)
House:
Um love this show. And I will miss it every Tuesday because I have to teach the kiddies how to pop their booty. Rats!
Too tingly for my taste:
Fun pregnancy symptom #426. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Translation? Your hands will fall asleep and tingle so bad that it is more then annoying and sometimes downright painful. This of course happens when you're trying to sleep. It sucks and I'm totally over it. There's basically not much I can do about either. All the websites and magazines say is: elevate your arm, shake it off, don't sleep on it, keep your hand lower than your heart. RIGHT. Being that I can ONLY sleep on my side it makes it extremely difficult to NOT sleep on my arm/hand. But hey! It's the joys of pregnancy right? :-)
Pop-they should sterilize him now-culture:
Kevin Federline had ANOTHER baby. Let us now have a moment of silence.
Katie Couric:
Yeah. What was the big deal?
Pet Patrol:
I haven't said anything to my husband but...I want a dog. Not a big dog. I think I want one of those dogs that is between a big dog and a Paris Hilton yip yip dog. Medium size. Per my husband, we're not to speak about the feline that we owned that was white/calico, that rhymes with ola, that he had to "give away" while I was home. Because of the baby we decided that cats are out and dogs are in. So maybe I want to dog :-) Any suggestions on cute medium size dogs?
Okay that's enough random stuff for today.
